New victories on the sports front: the second team place of Ukraine at the World Grappling Champions



On October 14, on the Day of Cossacks and Protection, the official delegation of the national grappling team of Ukraine won the second team place in the "No Gi" grappling section at the 2022 World Grappling Championship


The head coach of the national grappling team of Ukraine, laureate of the 11th International Sports Award "Golden Mongoose" Serhiy Cherednichenko holds in his hands the cup for the second team place of Ukraine.



"The coaching instructions were not in vain! Excellent work of the coaching staff, and as a result - the second team place at the 2022 World Grappling Championship!" - noted Serhiy on his official Facebook page.


The President of the National Grappling Federation of Ukraine, Magomed Magdiev, was the first to congratulate the team on its impressive result


"Grappling. The national team of Ukraine takes the second overall team place at the World Championship held in Spain. We are one of the strongest, as always!" - concluded Magomed Magdiev.


Ivan Malin, the leading athlete of the Mongoose Sports Club, is among the winners of the World Grappling Championship


The athlete glorified our Motherland to the whole world and gave another reason to be inspired by the mighty nation of the unconquered.


Ukrainian Ivan Malin won the bronze award of the World Grappling Championship in the "No Gi" section in the 100 kg weight category.


In the final fight for the honorary title of bronze medalist of the World Grappling Championship, Ivan defeated the representative of Poland, Dominik Piotr Olzewski, with a convincing score of 2:1 in favor of our countryman.

The public organization "Mongoose" congratulates all athletes, the coaching staff led by Serhiy Cherednichenko, the honorable president of the National Grappling Federation of Ukraine Magomed Magdiyev, the first vice-president of the Federation Oleksandr Mandryk and the general secretary of the Federation Anastasia Tukmachova with a stunning result! We wish every member of the official delegation good luck and motivation in increasing their awards on the next day of the competition.
